Eric Kayser, Plaza Senayan


Yesterday morning, I had breakfast together with Food Escape at Eric Kayser, Plaza Senayan. Eric Kayser is famous for its eclair but we were pretty curious to try the tarts.

My favorite tart! Love the sweet tangy raspberry jam on the top and the vanilla custard filling.

Delicious almond cream with peach and raspberry filling. 


Lemon Meringue Tart - Rp. 40.000


Pistachio Cheese Cake - Rp. 45.000
I was so impressed on my first bite. The combination of this cheese cake with cherry and pistachio plus the crumbs are so wonderful. I will absolutely come back again for this scrumptious cheese cake.

Plaza Dewata Chinese Seafood, Bali


During my visit to Bali this year, I had lunch at two Chinese restaurants. The first was at Golden Palace and the second was at Plaza Dewata Chinese Seafood which also located in Kuta area.

The size of Plaza Dewata restaurant is not really big. If I'm not mistaken there are only 8 round dining tables. The waiters were quite friendly. The food was really tasty and I definitely enjoyed it.

Melasti Kedonganan Cafe, Jimbaran, Bali

I had dinner at Melasti Kedongan Cafe at Jimbaran beach which was booked by the travel agent thus I have no idea how much is the price of this dinner package. The food was OK but nothing really to shout about. What I really enjoyed was more the performance of the Balinese dance during the dinner.

Pawon Pasundan, Bali

Pawon Pasundan Restaurant has been serving Sundanese (West Java) food in Bali since 1999. It is located only about 5 minutes – 2 Km away from the Ngurah Rai Airport. A lot of local tourist who are looking for good and halal food would come to this restaurant.

Adhi Jaya Sunset Hotel in Kuta area has its restaurant named Ambassador. It serves grill, salad, gourmet pizzas and sandwiches with Mediterranean and Asian specialties.

I tried Angry Duck Special - the chef recommendation which is the best seller.

Last week, I was in Bali for 4 days and 3 nights. The first restaurant that I went for lunch as soon as I arrived in Bali was Golden Palace Restaurant. The location of this restaurant is in Kuta area which is not far from Ngurah Rai airport.

All of the food that I had during the lunch was decent.
