Italian Week Fair at Scusa, InterContinenal Jakarta MidPlaza

Scusa is celebrating Italian independence day in the month of June by hosting a week full from 1 June to 9 June 2013, of delightful culinary evenings Italian style. There are three regions of Italy (Sicily, Tuscany, and Veneziea), each region will be featured on the set menu along with favorite menu options for the ultimate dining experience.

Last Tuesday, I tried the Sicily set menu.

PRIMI PIATTI
Scampi Giganti Salad
with orange, red onion, mesclun and an Italian herb dressing.

Insalata Vegetariana
with rocket leaves, olives, cherry tomatoes, anchovies, green beans and lemon dressing.

ZUPPA (SOUP)
Zuppa Polpetta
Sicilian meatball soup with cabbage

SECONDO PIATTI
Beef Involtini
Beef Involtini with pumpkin tortellini, stuffed eggplant and porcini sauce.

Scottato Branzino
Seared Sea Bass with stuffed calamari, caponata of vegetables and anchovy-dressing.

DOLCE
Sicilian Cassata
Neapolitan Ice Cream with candied fruit and nuts.

Pistachio Tart
with chocolate custard.

All prices are subjected to 21% of Government tax and Service Charge
Currency: 1 USD = Rp. 9.780

Price starts from Rp. 399.000++ per person

    always the hardest to get a decent picts with that kind of lighting T.T
