I believe all of you already know that Carl's Jr. is an American fast-food chain with a reputation of the higher-end fast food franchises
Last week, I was invited for their launching of "Freshly Prepared Hand-breaded Chicken Tenders". It's interesting because Carl. Jr is more known for their fresh take on burgers.
Carl's Jr. is the only fast food chain in Jakarta that provide a free flow drinks concept.
I was quite surprised when the box of Chicken tenders got on to my table, I guess I was expecting a little bit bigger box :) Served with 3 dipping sauce - BBQ, Mayonnaise and chili sauce, I gave a try of the BBQ and Mayonnaise.
The 3 strips of chicken were absolutely tender and moist. The breading was crunchy but I must say that it tasted overly salty for my taste bud. Probably it would be perfect if I eat it with rice or french fries.

Whoa, I've never heard of Carl's, but it definitely has the "Hardees" logo. I'm not sure if I would call Hardees' food high-end [fast food] though. Maybe it is called Carl's internationally?
ReplyDeleteMica: Yup, Carl's Jr and Hardees are the same company.
ReplyDeleteCarl's Jr. is called in the West coast states and also in some part of Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, China), Rusia.
Hardees is in the East coast states, Middle East, some part in Asia (Korea, Japan, Hong Kong) and Europe.
I love their chicken tender!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this fast-food chain, must be new in Indo??
ReplyDeletepeachkins: You don't think it too salty?
ReplyDeleteCG: It's opened in July last year but then in America, already since 1941 ;)
I went to Carl's Jr a while back and ordered a burger. I thought it was good but have never ordered their chicken tenders, generally because they are too salty.
ReplyDeletemonica: Ah.. so you are also aware that Carl's Jr's chicken tenders are too salty. I wonder why Carl's Jr still stick with this over salty taste since many people don't like it.
