Jun Njan Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Central Park Mall


It has been such a long time since I have eaten at Jun Njan restaurant. I had dinner together with my ex-colleague at the Jun Njan branch in Central Park mall. The food was good enough but not as good as I remembered like in the old days when my family usually dined at their old restaurant in Batu Ceper area.

Teratai Chinese Restaurant, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta


Less than a week since my last dinner at Miyama Japanese Restaurant at Hotel Borobudur and I was already back again there to try another restaurant. This time, it was the popular Chinese restaurant named Teratai (it means lotus in Indonesian language), serving mostly Cantonese dishes.

This authentic Malaysian cookery is only available during May 2015.
We chose the Marble Goby fish or mostly known as ikan malas in Indonesian language.

Miyama Japanese Restaurant, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta



Last Friday evening, I had dinner at Miyama Japanese Restaurant in Hotel Brobudur Jakarta. I really enjoyed the elegant ambiance and also the authentic and modern Japanese food in this restaurant. Everything was so delicious.

Miyama received one of the Best Restaurants 2015 by the discerning readers of Indonesia Tattler.

This May, Miyama is promoting "Tasty Spring Chicken". There are 5 variations: Imabari Yakitori, Tori Nanban, Tsukune burger, Tori momo Iwagio Sumibiyaki (Hot stone) and Mushi Dori. All the menus are served with salad, miso soup and rice.

Segarra, Ancol


Yesterday, I was invited by my student to celebrate her birthday party dinner at Segarra Ancol in North Jakarta.

Segarra is definitely a nice restaurant with a good view to the Jakarta Bay. As for the food taste, nothing to complain nor to compliment.
