Weekend Dim Sum Brunch at Shang Palace, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta


Starting last January 2014, Cantonese dim sum buffet with unlimited Chinese and lemon tea at Shang Palace, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta is available every weekend.

Pan Fried Dim Sum

Crispy wonton dumpling, Fried tofu stuffed with prawn, Turnip cake with chicken floss, BBQ puff pastry. 

The pan fried items were actually good but most of them were already cold and became greasy. It would be much better if they are served hot.

Steamed Barbeque (Chang Fen).
My favorite! 

Soups and Congees

Spicy and sour soup.
A nice soup to enhance the appetite.

Century egg and shredded chicken congee.
I like this tasty congee.

Steamed Dim Sum


Steamed beef ball with bean curd skin.

Xiao long bao.
I was a bit disappointed because the xiao long bao that I ate was totally dry.

Cold dishes


Crispy fried eel, chilled sliced beef shank, mixed fruit salad, fried mushroom in black vinegar, celery with dried shrimp.

The marinated baby octopus with spicy sauce was good.

A la Carte menu
Crispy battered prawns with mayonnaise. Delicious!

Dessert

Mango pudding and ice cream.
All prices are subjected to 21% service charge and government tax.

Dim Sum buffet price: Rp. 228.000 per person (including unlimited Chinese and lemon tea), every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
