A few months ago, I was invited for a birthday party held at Nishimura - a Japanese restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, serving authentic Japanese cuisine.
Actually, there are three styles of private dining room to be chosen for celebrating a birthday party like:
Sushi Bar
Teppanyaki room
and Tatami room (no picture)
But, it was impossible to have the birthday party in those private dining rooms because the birthday girl invited about 40 people. So, the public dining area became the birthday venue.
For the birthday lunch menu, each of the guests were offered to choose one menu from the Set Lunch Menu. All the Set Lunch Menu included appetizer (Kobachi), green salad, soup (Misoshiru), noodles, cooked radish, steamed rice (Takikomi Gohan) and dessert (Green Tea Ice Cream or Fresh Fruit with Jelly).
