UPO Coffee, PIK

My friend brought me to this UPO coffee shop in PIK area. He told me how wonderful this place is and I should give it a try.

When we got there, it was very crowded. Luckily there's still one unoccupied table when we entered it. The second floor was also fulled.

Cheese cakes and unique croissant (filling: salted egg, red velvet).

A unique method is applied in this cafe where you mix your own drink.

Matchafogato - Rp. 45.000
Green tea ice cream with original Japanese matcha and a little bowl of salty peanuts

Ice Latte - Rp. 35.000
I'm not so sure what kind of coffee is being used but there's a slightly sour after taste when I drank it.

UPO Special Red Velvet Latte - Rp. 50.000
It's cute but unfortunately, it tasted almost like drinking plain fresh milk with a little sweetness.

Croissant Red Velvet - Rp. 35.000

Crunchy and got sweet cream filling.

Kempi Deli, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta

I was in Grand Indonesia and it was already 9 pm. I remembered that Kempideli has an offer a discount 50% everyday after 7 pm till 10 pm for their bread and pastry.

 

I went there and for sure, the choices of bread and pastry were less.

Only left a few cakes.

The sausages were not included in the discount.

There are also other items like pasta, sauces, oil, jams, etc.

I ended up by buying:

Croisant Almond 90 gr - Rp. 20.000

All Pork Sausage - Rp. 31.960

This coffee shop is located in Jalan Surabaya - Menteng, beside Cali Deli and Madame Ching restaurant.

The "Petroncini" roasting machine made in Italy. 

Black ceiling and rustic interior but.... 

....really cozy.

WaLa Ice Cream & Coffee at Le Meredien Jimbaran Bali

WaLa is a casual relaxing place for homemade Gelato - ice creams and also to enjoy illy coffee at Le Meridien Jimbaran. It is an extention to Bamboo Chic restaurant inside the hotel.

Nice black and white marble flooring and wood furnishing.

Cute retro art wall decor.

WaLa is using illy espresso for serving coffee.

There are also many variant of tea.

I chose to sit beside the pond with the view of the Le Meridien hotel.

Did I wish there's someone with me? ;)

Enjoyed my illy's heart shape cappuccino.

WaLa's homemade Gelato - Ice cream.

Love the strawberry gelato! :)
