The New Starbucks Sparkling Beverage

Yesterday, Starbucks Indonesia launched a new cold beverage named "Starbucks Sparkling Beverage". This beverage is made-to-order or handcrafted soda with real fruit, using a special machine to make the bubble sparkling water.

There are four varieties of Starbucks Sparkling Beverage: 

* Lemon Ginger Starbucks Sparkling with Mango Jelly (limited edition)

* Starbucks Sparkling Mango Juice (limited edition)

* Starbucks Sparkling Iced Shaken Lemon Tea

* Starbucks Sparkling Iced Shaken Tea

Starbucks Sparkling Beverage price started from Rp. 24.000 (tall size). At the moment, this beverage is only available at 20 stores in Jakarta.

Starbucks Winter Indulgence 2014

Starbucks Winter Indulgence season will be available from 7 January 2014 to 3 March 2014.

Starbucks Guatemala Casi Cielo

Guatemala Casi Cielo is a medium roast coffee with a floral aroma, lemon acidity, a rich flavor and smooth body finishing with hints of dark cocoa. 

Asian Dolce Frappucino

The delectable and indulgence veverage is a blend of dark roasted coffee, signature espresso, rich sweetness of Dolce Sauce, blended together and classically topped with whipped cream. It's the perfect indulgent mid-day treat.

Potato Salad with Fruity Kraftkorn

Sandwich made from kraftkorn mix and folded with raisins, apricots and walnuts. Layered with potato salad. It's a combination of sweet and savory, simply delicious.

Smoked Chicken and Mushroom Croissant

Baked buttery croissant dough, filled with smoked chicken mushroom and topped with becahmel sauce and cheese.

Rhubarb and Apple Cumble Pie

Sweet buttery dough filled with tangy rhubarb combine with fresh apple and topped with almond crumble.

Starbucks Holiday Gathering 2013

The iconic Red Cup will be back in Starbucks Indonesia from 6 November 2013 until 5 January 2014.

My two Starbucks Holiday 2013 food favorites are:

Left: Smoked Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich - Rp. 40.000

Smoked turkey combined with cranberry mayonnaise and cheddar cheese. Perfectly served cold.

Right: Cinnamon Chocolate Marble Cake - Rp. 15.000

This freshly baked marble chocolate cake, topped with fragrant cinnamon sugar will definitely accompany my coffee time for the next two months.

 Holiday Almond Garland Bread - Rp. 32.000

Moist spice bread with marzipan filling topped with dry fruits, almond and glazed with apricot.

Starbucks Asian Dolce Latte

I was quite excited when I received an invitation from Starbucks to try the newest beverage. A new latte beverage will launch on March 5 to April 22,  2013, by Starbucks Coffee Indonesia. The all time favorite classic latte with an Asian twist named Asian Dolce Latte, available only at Starbucks stores in the Asia Pacific region. 

Asian Dolce Latte is a double shot of the premium, dark-roasted Starbucks Espresso Roast and layered with steamed milk and dolce sauce. This beverage can be made hot or cold with the additional whipped cream and espresso dusting.

Starbucks Gambir Train Station

At the end of January, Starbucks just opened the 142nd Starbucks store at Gambir Station, Jakarta which it is the first store in a train station in Indonesia. The location of the store is strategically at the departure area where travelers can have their favorite beverage easily before or after their train journey. The brewing time is daily from 5 am to 8 pm.

Starbucks Indonesia introduced their Winter Beverage 2013, available from 8 January 2013 to 4 March 2013. There are three beverages: Hojicha Tea (roasted Japanese green tea) served in hot/iced Latte and Frapuccino, Starbucks Signature Chocolate and  Green Tea Latte with an additional espresso shot.

Love it! Surprisingly that hot green tea latte blended so nicely with espresso :)

Tuna Cheese Whole Wheat Panini Sandwich - Rp. 35.000

Inside the Tuna Cheese Whole Wheat Panini Sandwich is mayonnaise, tuna mix filling, red green pepper and cheese.

Verona Cake - Rp. 22.000

Layered cake consists almond biscuit, butter cream and  Starbucks Coffee Verona biscuit.

Starbucks also introduced its four types of tea: Spearmint Green, English Breakfast, Chai, and Earl Grey.

I like this spearmint green. It tastes mild, soothing and refreshing.

Starbucks Autumn Blend 2012

For this Autumn season, Starbucks is launching their "Autumn Blend" coffee beans. It's a blend of coffees from Sumatra and the Antigua region of Guatemala. Expertly roasted to create a full-bodied brew with subtle spice and nuances of herbs, lemon cedar and cocoa.  It tasted earthy, herbal with a hint of lemon.

This Autumn Blend was created to pair well with the below savory breads and sweet cake.

Smoked Chicken Apple on Sundried Tomato Foccacia - Rp. 34.000

Totally enjoyed this yummy tasty bread. Preferable to be eaten cold :)

Jalapeno Cheese Roll - Rp. 15.000

It's bread with cheese and onion that has a spicy taste from the Jalapeno.

Purple Yam Coconut Cake - Rp. 28.000

Since I'm not a coconut nor cream lover thus it's hard for me to enjoy this cake.

Sea Salt Caramel Frappuccino - 

Rp. 42.000 (Tall), Rp. 48.000 (Grande), Rp. 54.000 (Venti)

A unique drink from Starbucks. It's espresso and steam milk, blended with mocha sauce and toffee nut flavored syrup and topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce, trubinado sugar and sea salt that deepens the rich flavors of the coffee. It will be available starting on 13 September 2012.

Starbucks Holiday Gathering 2011

This afternoon, I was invited by Starbucks Indonesia for their Holiday Gathering at their newest branch in Tomang, West Jakarta.

For this holiday season, Starbucks Indonesia introduced Christmas Handcrafted Espresso Beverages, Holiday Whole Bean and Holiday food 2011. Available at Starbucks stores until the 2nd of January 2012.

Starbucks Christmas Handcrafted Espresso Beverages, served hot or cold:

Cranberry White chocolate Mocha (New): Rich, full-bodied Starbucks signature espresso with white chocolate flavored sauce and steamed milk. Topped with sweetened whipped cream, cranberry drizzle and cranberry sugar sprinkle.

Toffee Nut Latte: Espresso in steamed milk combined with toasted toffee nuts syrup, topped with whipped cream and toffee-flavored sprinkles.

Peppermint Mocha: Espresso in steamed milk, bittersweet chocolate, mocha sauce and peppermint flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.

I tried all these 3 Holiday Beverages. I really love the Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha.

Holiday Whole Bean:

Starbucks Christmas Blend (the red packaging) and Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast (the purple packaging)

I also tried to taste the Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast in a small cup. Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast is a deeper and darker version of Starbucks Christmas Blend with the touch of aged Sumatran coffee beans, combined with Bella Vista F.W. Tres Rio coffee beans from Costa Rica. It tasted intense deep, bitter, sweet and spicy.

Cranberry Scone - Rp. 22.500

Cranberry scone with walnut and whitle chocolate coating on the top.

Raspberry Temptation - Rp. 28.000

Vanilla sponge cake with raspberry jelly on the top plus white chocolate drizzle, layered with cheese butter cream.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Cake - Rp. 25.000

Sweet butter cake with cream cheese mousse and blueberry filling. On the top, whipped blueberry cream and blueberry sauce.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Cake - Rp. 25.000

Sweet butter cake with cream cheese mousse and strawberry filling. On the top, whipped strawberry cream and blueberry sauce.

Holiday Beef & Egg Bagel - Rp. 30.000

This is my favorite one! A bagel with a slice of smoked beef and scrambled egg, mayonnaise, lettuce, cheese and caramelized onion.

Starbucks VIA Ready Brew is a transformational instant coffee that replicates the body and flavor of Starbucks coffee in an instant form. It took 20 years for Starbucks Coffee to develop this premium instant and microground coffee - 100% natural roasted Arabica coffee, highest quality coffee beans and made without preservatives.
