I couldn't be more amazed to see the large varieties of the pastries at this Merzenich Bakery when I was in the Old Town of Cologne.

Doughnuts.

Breads.

Pretzels.

Sandwiches.

Strawberry cakes.

Erdbeer Limone - EUR 3.25 per slice

It tasted differently than the American cheesecake because German cheesecake is usually made by quark cheese instead of cream cheese. I like this type of cheesecake but my colleague didn't like it.

Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake, Central Park Mall

Lately, Japanese cheesecake become a hype in Jakarta. Last Saturday, there's a new outlet of Uncle Tetsu Shop opened in Central Park Mall. If I'm not mistaken, almost 1,000 people was in the long line on that opening day since early morning because of the promotion - Rp. 8.000 per cake (normal price is Rp. 80.000 per cake). During promotion period, each customer only can buy 1 cake.

There is still a promotion Rp. 50.000 per cake until 23 April 2017. So yesterday, I also joined the long line to try this famous Uncle Tetsu Japanese cheesecake although I'm actually not a souffle cheesecake fan because I prefer American or European cheesecake.

It tasted more milky than cheesy.

Watt Coffee

A friend recommended to visit Watt Coffee for good coffee. This small coffee shop is located in Kwitang - Central Jakarta area, close by the Tugu Tani statue.

A nice cozy ambiance for a place to hang out.

Banana Cake - Rp. 40.000

Pizza Mushroom Truffle - Rp. 120.000

A simple pizza with only mushroom, cheese and truffle oil but totally delicious.
