Yeyo Lobby & Eatery

On a Sunday afternoon, I had lunch together with Cindy, Natasha  Umi and Imel  The idea to try this new place named Yeyo Lobby & Eatery came up from Natasha. It's a two-story restaurant. Supposedly the first floor is the restaurant and the second floor is the lounge area. But, when we went there, the first floor was still under renovation. So, we had our lunch at the lounge area on the second floor.

A nice tropical ambience. 

Too bad, smoking is allow in here. I was quite annoyed with the smoking customers sitting beside our desk. Their smoke ruined me from enjoying my meal :( I hope that the restaurant would at least divide the smoking and non-smoking area.

 Red Salad - Rp. 39.000

Unique serving of tuna salad in watermelon castle served with fusion mayonnaise, pamelo and sun flower seeds.

Herb Butter Chicken - Rp. 55.000

Grilled chicken breast in French herb butter, matched with potato wedges with roasted mushroom that tasted the same like the below dish Roasted Chicken.

What's the different of these two chicken dishes? Well, only the part of chicken and the side dish.

Roasted Chicken - Rp. 65.000

Ordinary roasted chicken with thyme and rosemary, served with potato wedges and salad.

Smoked Pesto Tagliatelle - Rp. 65.000

Supposedly this dish is smoked beef in pesto sauce but no idea, why it turned out like this.

Wagyu Mexican Taco - Rp. 55.000

Hard shell taco with organic lettuce, cheese, fruits, served with guacamole, salsa and sour cream.

Iced lemon tea - Rp. 25.000

Iced latte - Rp. 35.000

All prices are subjected to 21% (service charge & government tax)

Overall, though we only experienced mediocre taste of food in here but at least it was a nice afternoon hanging out (minus the smoke).

Rum Roso Il Cafe

I was pretty impressed to find out that this restaurant is serving pizza with Indonesian toppings.

 Pizza Balado - Rp. 70.000
I enjoyed this pizza although it doesn't have much cheese on it.

Pizza Rendang - Rp. 75.000

Of course, it doesn't taste like the authentic Rendang but still it's really good!

See the red chili? Felt happy to find out that it's not too spicy and I managed to eat a slice of it :)

Goedkoop - Warung Kopi Belanda

Goedkoop in Dutch means cheap. Warung Kopi Belanda means Dutch Coffee Shop. So, I guess the owners are trying to tell the customers that this place is a cheap Dutch coffee shop which I don't really think it is really cheap but yes, it is quite affordable.

The place has a nice and simple interior. For those who can not stand to smokers, maybe it's better not to come to this place because a lot of their customers smoke and there is no divider between smoking and non-smoking area.

Ice Koffie Bon Bon - Rp. 20.000 

Hot Koffie Bon Bon - Rp. 17.000

A double shot espresso with condense milk. A resemble of Vietnamese coffee but the taste for sure is so different than from the original Vietnamese coffee.

Kaya met Kaas Dunne Toastje -  Rp.15.000

It supposedly thin bread toast with kaya jam and cheese but I didn't taste the cheese at all.

Pannekoek Apple en Caramel - Rp. 27.000

Very thin pancake with apple, caramel and sugar powder. The pancake tasted bland and the caramel was bitter rather than sweet. 

The receipt comes in a cute clog from the Netherlands.

Marugame Udon

I had lunch together with Jenz at Marugame Udon. Most of the time, this place is full with customers because beside the yummy Udon, there are also good fried stuff.

Turkuaz - Turkish Restaurant in Jakarta

Looking for authentic Turkish food? There is a Turkish restaurant named Turkuaz, located in Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta.

Black and white photos about Turkey are hanging on the walls as decor.

Beautiful and colorful chandelier.

The size of the restaurant is small, maybe around 30 seats. If I'm not mistaken, there's also a private rooms on the second floor
